1. PAYMENT

Moon Moth online store is running at WIX, presently one of the most reliable ecommerce platforms available. 

We accept payments through PayPal, Direct Bank Transfer as well as all Credit Card payments through Paypal infrastructure.

It all together makes shopping with us very safe and easy to go through.

 

We only ship our products once receiving full payment for the whole order and for all shipping costs. We do not ship with Cash On Delivery (COD).

2. ORDER CONFIRMATION

 

After you place your order, we confirm the stock availability, order details and shipping address with you before we ship any item. Please make sure that you check your e-mail after your purchase and look for our updates on your delivery. If you do not receive this email please contact us at info@moon-moth.com, so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.

 

 

3. PRICES

 

Prices are as set out on the website and may be subject to change without notice.

 

All orders shipping to the European Union will be sold with VAT at the current rate.

 

All orders shipping outside the European Union will be sold without VAT. The price does not include the cost of any customs, duties or VAT, all of which will be charged locally upon arrival of goods. Shipping laws are different and vary from country to country. It is the recipient’s responsibility to check with the local Customs office to verify whether the country of destination charges customs fees for the import. The recipient is fully responsible for such charges and for complying with their country's laws, taxes, customs regulations and duties. MOON MOTH is not responsible for any delays or detains of product in Customs.

 

 

4. LEAD TIME & DELIVERY

 

If the ordered quantity of the product is available in stock, the shipment takes place within 7 business days of order confirmation and payment received. If there is not enough product in stock, the customer will be informed about the possible date of shipment with the option of canceling all or part of the order.

 

Currently we have a fixed shipping price for 48 countries. If there is no shipping quotation available for your country, please contact us directly at info@moon-moth.com and we will prepare a quote especially for you.

 

EMS postal service is only partly trackable and delivery time is 4-7 business days (EU) and 5-10 business days (outside EU).

Courier shipping is fully trackable and delivery time is 3-5 business days (EU) and 5-10 business days (outside EU).

The given time intervals are approximate and may vary for different delivery addresses and can be extended during the holiday season.

MOON MOTH is not responsible for delays caused by the forwarder.

 

 

5. WARRANTY

 

MOON MOTH will warrant products purchased only by the original purchaser from an authorized reseller or distributor or from MOON MOTH directly. MOON MOTH warrants that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for one year after the date of purchase. MOON MOTH reserves the right, before having any obligation under this limited warranty, to inspect the damaged product, and all costs of shipping for inspection shall be borne solely by the purchaser. 

 

In order to recover under this limited warranty, the purchaser must make a claim to MOON MOTH within 10 business days of occurrence. MOON MOTH, at its option, shall repair or replace the defective unit covered by this warranty. In order to keep this limited warranty in effect, the product must have been handled and used as prescribed. This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse or negligence.

 

 

6. DAMAGED PRODUCTS

 

All damage claims must be made in writing within 5 business days of receipt of goods.

Our products are checked twice before shipment and packed with due care. Nevertheless, the package may be damaged during transport. If you observe that the package is heavily broken, please make photo documentation, open the box accompanied by courier and, if necessary, write a damage report. Only in that case are we able to consider your claim. After receiving the report please write to us at info@moon-moth.com within 5 business days of receipt of your order with proof of the damage.

We will not refund any product that has been damaged due to wear, through improper use or incorrect storage conditions. Please keep in mind that solid wood may sometimes be sensitive to alterations in temperature and humidity, so to avoid cracks, fissures or fractures try to keep the storage conditions stable and on average level.

 

 

7. RETURNS

 

We accept returns only from European Union customers.

 

If for any reason you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unused item. Order cancellations must be made in writing via email within 30 days of delivery. To cancel your order please contact us at info@moon-moth.com. Please note that your return needs to arrive back to our warehouse within 14 days of cancellation. Once your return is received and inspected, the refund will be paid within 14 days.

 

All items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with all tags attached and without scratches, damages or any other signs of use. Return shipping cost is not refundable. MOON MOTH is not responsible for any damage caused during the return shipment of the item. Therefore, we recommend using a trackable, insured service.

 

EU customers will receive a full refund including the original shipping cost. 

 

If an item is received and is not in original condition, the refund request will be rejected and the product will be returned at the customer’s expense.

 

 

8. PORTRAYAL OF PRODUCTS

 

While every effort has been made to portray items accurately, slight variations may occur.

All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colors is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow. Please note there may be variations in colors dependent on the calibration and settings of individual screens.

All our products comply with appropriate safety and consumer regulations. We hold all required Certificates, which can be obtained from us on request.

MOON MOTH company’s total liability for any claim howsoever shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by MOON MOTH company to the customer. MOON MOTH company shall not be liable for any consequential loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way, save where such liability is imposed upon MOON MOTH company by statute. MOON MOTH company cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated on the Website. MOON MOTH company does not limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or willful misconduct. Your statutory rights are not affected by this statement.
